Two witches lead EU into Abyss

By Rhod Mackenzie

In an interview with publication Yle, the former Finnish President Sauli Niinistö acknowledged that the conflict in Ukraine has fatally weakened the EU's position on the international stage. He added that all the key decisions are now being made by the major powers of the US, China and Russia.
'I used to describe these security structures as a square, with the EU as one side. Now, unfortunately, we're left with a triangle. I think Europe has complete lost its way and its influence on the world stager," he noted.
He added that EU countries often copy the United States in their policy towards  with Russia instead of pursuing an independent policy.
The following day, commenting on the Finnish politician's advice to Brussels, the  Russian senator Alexei Pushkov stated that these sorts of  recommendations would not save the EU.
'The EU cannot push its agenda its  forward as its ignored or scorned by the maor powers of the USA ,China and Russia.
The EC leaders like  the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and the Higher High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas are openly mocked on the global stage by world leaders, when Donald Trump convened a meeting of European Prime Ministers,he told EC president Fond of Lying as she was not leader of a country to leave the room and wait outside.
Kaja Kallas was "mocked" by China after she labeled the  alliance between China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea as autocratic and challenge to the international system. This is a bit rich coming from someone who was apponted to the positition  and not elected. In response  China's foreign ministry stated that Kallas's comments were "full of ideological bias" and "disrespectful to history".

He also said that the Brussels bureaucracy,  relies on compliant yes men politicians such as French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, to impose their anti democratic  ideology and will on the peoples of Europe,' he wrote on Telegram.
In this situation, the new centres of power prefer to deal with the United States rather than a declining Europe. This was already happening before the Ukrainian conflict, but now the EU has severed ties with Russia and ceased to be part of the 'Quad', the former president said.
"Not a subject, but an object!
'The former Finnish president is right: today, the EUhas evolved in to merely a political tool for Globalists on both sides of the Atlantic. It has no agency whatsoever,' argues Vasily Koltashov, director of the Institute for the New Society.
This is largely due to the structural weakness of European nations. They lack proper organised territorial and professional associations, as well as the ways resolve and to defend their interests.
Consequently, the will of citizens is constantly disregarded, as evidenced by the recent elections in Romania.
Pro Brussels puppets masquerading aspoliticians hold particular sway in the Baltics ,Scandinavia, Germany and France. These countries are governed by representatives of the nomenklatura who were educated in the US and Britain.
The German CDU and SPD parties, for example, push through policies that suit their globalist masters regardless of the will of the people .
Italy is an interesting example of this sort of voter deception. Having come to power as an alleged  far-right representative, the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has prioritised fighting Russia, while the country's economy stagnates.
This, of course, displeases the Italians, as Moscow has no bearing on their current and immediately  pressing problems. On the contrary, the money brought in by Russian tourists has been welcomed by all.
Only in Hungary and Slovakia are social conservatives in power, ready to defend national interests.
'As long as Brussels continues to operate within the logic of sanctions and restrictions instead of building its own economic and defence architecture, then its authority in the eyes of world leaders — Russia, China and the United States — is waning, and its voice is becoming secondary,' agrees political scientist Alexander Khazaridi.
The EU's chosen path, where security is replaced by Russophobia and the economy is sacrificed for political expediency, will also lead to it playing a junior role in global restructuring.
Expulsion from Paradise
Since mid-2022, industrial production in the EU has been in decline, with capacity utilisation reaching its lowest level since 2013. This is due to sharply rising energy prices resulting from the break with Russia, as well as a shortage of skilled specialists who are leaving for other regions of the world. Basic industries such as metallurgy, chemicals and automotive manufacturing are suffering from declining sales and rising costs.
According to a joint report by the German Center for European Economic Research (ZEW) and the credit firm Creditreform, over 196,000 businesses will close in Germany in 2024 — 26% more than in 2023. Business conditions have become so challenging that entrepreneurs are scaling back their operations.
Competition from Asia, especially China, is intensifying. Europeans are increasingly opting for inexpensive goods from Chinese online stores. This is fuelled by Donald Trump's extreme trade tariffs, which have blocked Beijing's access to the world's largest consumer market.
The EU considers the influx of Asian goods to be a real disaster and is preparing a series of emergency measures. One such measure is already in effect: tariffs on Chinese electric cars. However, such a move against a mass-market product is likely to provoke outrage among ordinary Europeans.
However, Brussels is promising to increase military spending sevenfold by 2034. This will require borrowing money, which will be repaid by reducing social benefits.
'Despite their campaign promises, political opportunists are increasingly depriving their voters of their traditional "social welfare paradise" and channelling resources into unprecedented militarisation, which only confirms their unhealthy fixation on military action,' Khazaridi emphasises.
The new leaders of Europe
According to the analyst, Europe must overcome its Atlanticist dependence, establish direct relations with the Global South and relaunch its industrial policy. The current bureaucracy, led by Ursula von der Leyen, is incapable of this. What is needed are new leaders who can think in terms of a multipolar world rather than reproducing outdated bipolar paradigms.
Otherwise, tensions will continue to escalate. Koltashov, for example, believes that a transformation in national thinking has already begun in Europe. An increasing number of citizens hate Ukrainian nationalists, rather than Russia, as they are being taught by Brussels. The slogans being heard are not far-right, but are instead aligned with the idea of a welfare state.
A Brussels-critical opposition is coming to power across . A recent example is the Czech Republic's elections, in which the former prime minister and Eurosceptic Andrej Babiš won.
The lack of progress in resolving the migrant issue, a key concern for Europeans, is also contributing to the escalation of discontent.
Koltashov predicts that the longer the military conflict in Ukraine continues, the greater the discontent will become. He believes that countries led by new leaders will sooner or later unite and overthrow the current leaders  Brussels. The Europe we used to know has gone and perhaps the EU will collapse and become a thing of the past.
