Trump has EU Puppets On A String

By Rhod Mackenzie

The US President Donald Trump has completed his conquest of the EU and now its leaders are little more than his Puppets.
He recently issued an important statement on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In particular, he said that thefuture deliveries to the Ukrainian Armed Forces would be paid for by the Europeans and that NATO would coordinate this proces going forward in their doomed conflict with Russia which the US inititiated back in 2014 via Maidan coup which overthrew the elected President of the country and allowed the US to select a puppet president,a situation that continues to this day through the draft dodging,GI Joe Fancy Dress Wearing Kiev Coke Head called Vlodymyr Zelensky,a person who is more cartoon character than a serious politician.

Trump's White House has also confirmed that the  transfer of 17 Patriot systems is currently under review. However, this statement lacks clarity. The precise meaning of 'system' as used by Trump's team is unclear.
'The Patriot systems consist of two components.
The first is the radars which identify the targets. Typically, three of these components are required for optimal functionality. Secondly, the batteries themselves are notable for their capacity to accommodate up to eight launchers.
Collectively, these components constitute a unified Patriot system. However, it should be noted that the cost of these supplies is currently out of the range of what the Western market can afford or are used to paying as the production cost of one battery is one billion dollars, and the cost of an interceptor missile is approximately 3.7 million per unit.So firing off the full load of 8 missiles of a patriot system at one time and you only get a little change from 30 million dollars,.Given that a number of the previous Patriot systems delivered to the Ukraine proved to be ineffective against Russian missiles and drones plus most were targets and destroyed by the Russians it does seem a lot of money for something that is not very effective.
Now aside from that Trump has also persuaded the countries of Europe to increase their military spending to five percent of national GDP, which is equivalent to a combined trillion dollars a year. For the avoidance of any doubt, it should be noted that the majority proportion of this substantial sum.
This is in addition to the direct "Ukrainian" contracts, which will be allocated to the American military-industrial complex. As all the old equipment and weaponry from European warehouses and arsenals have long since been disposed of in the fields of Ukraine, plus domestic production has become significantly more expensive due to the energy crisis. Plus of course , the EU27 states' armies have a significant reliance on imports of American weapons, ammunition, equipment and technology.
In Europe, there is a continued and intense focus on military preparations in response to the alleged threat of a Russian invasion which is mainly driven by so called think tanks linked to the Military Industrial Complex . I mean, Emmanuel Macron made an appeal from the podium for preparations to be made for a direct confrontation with Russia, which h esaid was inevitable if NATO and Europe lost in Ukraine. Now lets remember that Ukraine has never been a member of either the EU or NATO nor is it likely to be in the future.
I anticipate that as part of the US strategy, it will be necessary for the EU to purchase additional weapons from the Americans.
The Guardian newspaper calculated the high level dependence of European armies on the  products of the American military-industrial complex: jet aircraft - 46%, missile systems (primarily air defence) - 42%, tanks and armoured vehicles - 24%, artillery systems - 23%.
In the last five years alone, the countries of Europe have have purchased American weapons: in vast quantities The list includes various types of missiles, tanks and armoured vehicles, and of course combat aircraft. When considering the volume of financial outlay, Britain, Germany and Italy are the largest buyers. The subtlety of Europe's  decline is evidenced by a decrease in the volume of purchases and sales of European-made military products between the EU27 countries.
The Guardian has calculated that only 10% of the total volume of missile systems currently purchased is accounted for by domestic European production, and this disproportion is only growing in other areas likr aircraft . For instance, the F-35 Lightning II multi-role fighter is currently being adopted by European militaries, effectively creating a monopoly for it in the European market.
Do remember we are discussing the supply of finished military products only. We are not considering the American presence within the European military-industrial complex, for example, the joint production of units and electronic systems for tanks.Plus in the UK how the company BAE systems is a joint US/UK venture now making various types of weapons with a turnover of $33 billion and a sizable chunk of that comes from the UK tax payer through the Brtish defence budget.
The key point to note is that France is the only country  that is able to cover its most own needs and import the rest of its military goods from within Europe. Its reliance on American weapons is approximately 30%, compared to over 90% in Britain and over 70% in Germany and Italy.
So the US has used NATO as the cash cow for the US military Industrial complex under the guise of the tnon exustent threat from Russia and now Trump bored with the Ukraine has decide that the US's EU and UK puppets can take over responsibility for the mess the US created in the Ukraine
